If we are among the few blessed with immortality among the many called to judgment, we will serve as priests with political and educational authority for the next thousand years in the restored Kingdom of God. Kingdom Law will be restored with temple worship, altar offerings, circumcision, Sabbath observance, feast weeks and many other components of the laws and the original Kingdom of God initiated at Sinai. Although we have no application for policing these laws currently we are certainly free to study them to prepare for our future vocation. This is a David-like goal, as David was not allowed to build the temple but did assemble and prepare the materials, purchased the construction site and trained his son in what had to be built. Preparing ourselves for our hopeful vocational is an honorable pursuit.
